Through personal interviews with key stakeholders and case studies, SRG assisted ODE in determining how well Ohio’s Family Literacy Initiative has encouraged and aided in the development and continuation of family literacy programs across the state of Ohio.  These programs target low-income families with young children and are designed to break the cycle of poverty and low literacy skills, improving the educational opportunities of low-income families with young children.
